The Green Mile (1999) by Frank Darabont. This was a film I cried for. This movie deals with a death row inmate, who was convicted for the murder of 2 Little girls. Looks can be deceiving, and that is what the Green Mile was about. How people judge and torment people got how they looked or behaved.

What we don’t see is how much we overlook, when we choose not to break the walls of perception. The Green Mile shows us how much we as humans can only think within our beliefs and because of that lose sight of what matters. Love, compassion and understanding.

Of course the film does look into the darker aspects of the prison system and how it fails to rehabilitate, but rather act as a catalyst for hate and violence.

This film did make me cry when it reaches it’s end, because the only ones who know the truth, is us, the audience….
